Day Activity: Arrival Day + Sightseeing in Hanoi
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our guide and transferred for a half-day sightseeing tour of Hanoi. Vietnam’s capital, over a thousand years old, is a city that blends historical charm with vibrant culture. Explore its peaceful lakes, French-colonial architecture, bustling Old Quarter streets, tree-lined boulevards, and brightly painted temples and pagodas. After the tour, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day Activity: Full Day Sightseeing - Tam Coc & Hoa Lu
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing. At 08:30, your guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer you 110 km southward to Ninh Binh Province, a region famously known as Vietnam’s "Inland Halong Bay."
First, arrive in Tam Coc, where you’ll embark on a leisurely sampan cruise along a scenic stream that leads to the Tam Coc caves. As you glide through, you'll pass through three vast stretches of rice fields, surrounded by towering limestone mountains adorned with striking stalagmites and stalactites. The name "Tam Coc" translates to "three caves," and the area, which was once below sea level millions of years ago, holds remnants of the ocean’s erosion. The sampan ride through the caves, with its fresh air and picturesque views, promises to be a memorable experience.
In the afternoon, continue to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, which served as the political center for 41 years during the 10th and 11th centuries. The capital was first ruled by the Dinh Dynasty, under King Dinh Tien Hoang, and later by King Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty. Visit the temples dedicated to these two kings, built on the site of the ancient Hoa Lu Citadel. After exploring the ancient citadel and temples, return to Hanoi for the evening.

Day Activity: Transit Day + Experience Halong Bay on a 5 Cruise
08:30 – Your guide will meet you at your hotel, and you will embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Halong City, located 165 km east of Hanoi. Along the way, you’ll pass through the countryside, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the Vietnamese people, with around 80% of the population relying on rice cultivation.
11:30 – 12:00 – After a short rest, you’ll board a high-speed tender for a 25-minute transfer to the main boat. Once on board, you will be greeted warmly by the crew of La Casta Cruise and served a refreshing welcome drink. A short briefing on the cruise itinerary and safety guidelines will be provided at the restaurant. After the briefing, check into your suite cabin and get settled for the journey ahead.
13:00 – Enjoy a delightful lunch in the cruise’s restaurant as you begin your voyage to discover the beautiful Lan Ha Bay.
15:45 – Visit the Ba Trai Dao area, a serene and picturesque lagoon in Lan Ha Bay. This area is known for its romantic atmosphere, featuring three small islets resembling giant peaches on the sea. Here, you can engage in activities such as kayaking, swimming, or simply enjoying the stunning surroundings. In the event of unfavorable weather, the cruise will change the itinerary to Dark and Bright Cave, another natural wonder famous for its pristine beauty. Activities at the cave include kayaking, sightseeing via bamboo boat, and swimming, offering a unique way to explore the bay’s stunning limestone formations and clear waters.
17:30 – 18:30 – Return to the La Casta Cruise and enjoy a pre-dinner sunset party with a Happy Hour promotion (buy 2 drinks, get 1 free) at the bar while you take in the breathtaking sunset views over the bay.
18:00 – Join the cooking demonstration on board, where the chef will guide you through preparing a few simple but delicious signature Vietnamese dishes.
19:30 – Savor a special seafood dinner, featuring a variety of fresh, local Vietnamese dishes, while continuing to cruise through the bay.
21:00 – After dinner, enjoy the evening’s entertainment options, which include squid fishing and karaoke.
Day Activity: Transit Day + Free & Easy on Your Own
Early Morning – Start your day with a peaceful Tai Chi session on the sundeck, where you can enjoy the fresh morning air and watch the sunrise over Lan Ha Bay. It’s a tranquil moment to appreciate the natural beauty of the bay and its dramatic limestone islets.
Breakfast – After your session, indulge in a delicious breakfast while taking in the stunning morning view of the bay. Sip on a cup of tea or coffee as you admire the serene landscape around you.
Morning Exploration – After breakfast, take time to explore Tra Bau, a peaceful area known for its pristine waters and breathtaking surroundings. You can enjoy activities like kayaking or swimming to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the bay.
Back to Your Cabin – Return to your cabin to relax and prepare for check-out. Ensure all your belongings are packed before leaving the cabin.
09:30 – Check-out from your cabin and continue your cruise around the bay. You may enjoy room service and take in the final views of Lan Ha Bay before leaving.
Brunch – Head to the restaurant for a delicious brunch as you continue to cruise through the stunning waters. This is your last chance to enjoy the beauty of the bay while you dine.
11:30 – Arrive back at Tuan Chau Harbor and disembark. We hope you’ve enjoyed your time with La Casta Cruise and that you have a memorable experience to take with you. After disembarkation, you will return to Hanoi.
